BINION'S HORSESHOE CONTINUES CRAPS IMPLOSION
The craps pit at "The Shoe" is now down to FOUR craps tables. The former bastion of craps with 13 tables has imploded over the past two years. The pit has gone down from 13, to 9, to 5 and now to only FOUR tables. No more 25-cent "Bird" game here. It's the end of an era.
DIG YOUR OWN HOLE WITH A LATE BET
Dealers hate LATE BETS. Players are supposed to make their bets between rolls WHILE THE DICE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TABLE and before the stickman (woman) sends them OUT for the next roll. If you make a bet when the dice have already been sent out or ARE ALREADY IN THE AIR... how are you going to feel when the dealer or boxman says NO BET and your proposed wager hits as a result of the roll? Some players who JUST DON'T GET THIS also have their comps reduced to an absolute MINIMUM as a result of their continued lack of courtesy by making LATE BETS.
SET YOUR BETS DOWN
Did it ever occur to you that GAMING CHEQUES TEND TO ROLL? Or are you one of those BOZOS who has spent the past 50 years or so THROWING YOUR BETS at the dealer and into the dealer's bank area? Place, Come and Field Betters should set their wagers DOWN so that they DO NOT ROLL all over the damn layout. Proposition Betters can NEATLY TOSS their bets to the Stickman (woman) as they call their wager. How would you like it if you threw in a bet and had the dealer THROW THE DAMN THING RIGHT BACK AT YOU?
