WHAT IS 3-4-5x ODDS?
3X, 4X and 5X Odds is the common posted table odds on most Strip casinos and in other non-Vegas major gaming venues. These are the FREE ODDS that are posted for Pass Line and Come players. The casinos posting these odds will allow the player to TAKE 3X the FLAT BET on the 4 and 10, 4X on the 5 and 9 and 5X the FLAT BET on the 6 and 8. We have recently been informed that THE GOLDEN NUGGET, downtown in Vegas, has DOUBLED the commonly used 3-4-5x Odds, described in the above article. Posted Odds there are now 6X on the 4 and 10, 8X on the 5 and 9 and 10X on the 6 and 8. THE BONE MAN will be doing an in-depth update on Downtown Casino Table Odds during the month of September. But why play at THE GOLDEN NUGGET when there are better table odds within a 5 minute walking distance?

The best place for a Don't Player to stand is NEXT TO A BASE DEALER. As the Don't Pass Line wraps all the way around the table and the Don't Come Box is furthest away from most players and almost next to either dealer, this is the best place for Don't Players to play so that their wagers and pay-offs can be made easily and without having to throw or toss them from any other position on the table.
