Do You Want to Play Craps OR Win Money?

It has often been said that playing craps is the most fun that you can have withyour clothes on. Because it can be such an exciting game many players will sustainthemselves at the tables as a sheer matter of entertainment.

Whether to play for fun or for keeps is a serious matter to consider.

As a dealer, it is amazing to see how many players come to the table without anyplan whatsoever. And many players actually appear to not even care if they win orlose so long as they get some excitement while at play. The most obvious manifestationof this fact is “The Last Bet” where players bet it all on the Pass Line withouteven saving any portion of the remains of their bank for the Free Odds.

If you are going to take this game seriously this is what you need to assess:

  • How much is your bankroll?
  • What is your ratio of bankroll-to-WIN?
  • How much time do you plan to spend at the table?
  • How much can you afford to LOSE?
  • Do you have a systematic method of play and will you stick to it?
  • Have you shopped your casino of choice and made a wise decision?

CRAPS QUIZ

Here is the answer to the March quiz:

When a player says “Down with Odds” they mean:

  • Give me back the Odds that I have on my Come Bet(s).
  • Take down my Place Bet and use what you need for Odds on my new Come Bet.

When a player says “Down with Odds” they mean “Take down my Place Bet and use whatyou need for Odds on my new Come Bet.”

If a player wants to take Odds DOWN off of a COME BET… they would say “Take downmy Odds” (and they would state the number to which they are referring.)

As close to 60% of those responding got the answer WRONG… this is just anotherindication of how little players know about the complexities of playing Craps. ANDis another reason for you to sign up for PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP.
