RENO-TAHOE DIRECTORY UPDATES

THE BONE MAN has recently started his tour of the Reno and Lake Tahoe craps pits and has updated the Reno craps directory with table count, table odds, minimums and maximums for the Tahoe North Shore Casinos and some of the major hotel-casinos in Reno. Every casino in the Reno-Tahoe area will be posted with updates by the end of October. NextShooter readers are encouraged to share any table condition information they have as a courtesy to other members. The Bone Man is also planning a Laughlin, Nevada trip soon to post additional updates to the Laughlin craps directory.

WHERE ARE THE PRO'S? -- UPDATE

We apologize for our delay in posting the two proposed new members to the "Where are the Pro's" section. Readers may be interested to know though, that Beau Parker, also known as "The Dice Coach" in Las Vegas will be featured on A&E Television on the September 3rd segment featuring information about "Professional Gamblers." (Vegas airs at 10pm) Also included in this segment of A&E's series on gambling will be a number of "dice-setters" or "precision shooters," consistent craps players. For those of you who are either interested in or skeptical of so-called "dice-setting" this will be a good chance for you to make up your mind.

DICE ILLUSTRATED

For those of you who have not solved the many mysteries of The Bones, NextShooter.com recommends that you check out the Dice Illustrated website. Thomas Michaels offers a hard copy book, a CD, a color video and now has also posted a direct download off of the net. Pick your favorite medium.

CRAPS QUIZ

Here is the answer to the August quiz:

On a "SEVEN - WINNER" on the Come Out Roll, the dealers must always hand back the non-working FREE ODDS on previously positioned COME BETS and place the losing FLAT BETS into the HOUSE BANK.

Answer: The answer to the August quiz is FALSE

Dealers do not ALWAYS hand back the Free Odds on Come Bets on a SEVEN on the Come Out Roll, because some players will buy back all the FLAT bets, thereby leaving all of their wagers, with the ODDS, still in position for the next roll. As more than 73% of those responding got the answer WRONG, here's yet another reason to explore the valuable craps information at NextShooter.com.

September 2003 Quiz:

The first thing that a player should do when approaching the craps table is:

Ask one of the dealers if the table is running hot or cold.

Look in the player banks to see if they are filled with gaming cheques.

Look at the posted table odds, minimums, and maximums.
