Craps Quiz – A monthly challenge to test your knowledge of craps. Stop by
NextShooter.com and answer April’s question: Which is better, bets on the Hard 4
and/or 10, or bets on the Hard 6 and/or 8?

Results for last month’s quiz: Over 90% responding to last month’s vote were
correct. “Downtown” Odds are better than “Strip” Odds. “Downtown” table odds will
usually pay $3.50 (an extra 50 cents) on a “place bet” on the 6 and/or 8 as opposed
to a “strip” payoff of a flat $3. This is critical for a “place better” who has
a limited budget. Also, “downtown” payoffs on all “proposition bets” (bets in the
middle of the lay-out) are almost always better. Interesting, too, some downtown
casinos actually pay “strip” odds AND some strip casinos pay “downtown” table odds.
